Useful Information
Maths: Times tables are worked on regularly during the week at school, and we would encourage lots of practise at home, via Times Tables Rockstars. Fluency and speed of recollection of multiplication and division facts are absolutely key to mathematical success throughout Key Stage 2.
Reading: Children are encouraged to read regularly to an adult.
Reading Suggestions: Expertly selected books for 7 and 8 year old children
Spelling: On Mondays, the teachers will let parents know the spelling patterns that will be taught in class during the week, so that children can practice at home each week
