Jubilee Week - May 2022

This week we have been celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a wide range of activites.

Each class researched a decade of her life, while Reception found out more about the Queen and why she is special. They each created a poster to share their learning. 

We were fortunate enough to be able to work with local potter Deborah Thompsett on a special peice of artwork that will be installed in the hall once it has been fired. This was paid for by some other local artists. 

Each class also made some batk bunting which some kind parents and local sewing groups quickly put together for us. 

Some classes also has visitors in from the local community to share their memories of the decades and of the Queen. 

We finished off with a celebration day and picnic in the playground all dress in red, white and blue.
