Rotherfield Football Team represent North Wealden at the Sussex U11

On Wednesday 20^th January our fabulous football team, travelled to Lancing to represent North Wealden in the Sussex U11 7 aside Pokémon Primary finals. With the support of all their parents, the boys played some fantastic football, so much so that they did not lose a single game ! This meant that they reached the final of the group games where they just missed out on going through to the next round. What an awesome achievement from the boys - Edward, Oli, Luke, Rupert, Archie, George, Josh and Ethan, you should be so proud of yourselves ! This is the furthest and most successful that Rotherfield Primary has ever done in this competition and I am so grateful that I have had the privilege to be part of this with you all. My thanks go to Ben as the team coach, he hasn't missed a beat and has always encouraged the boys to do their best, not just to play great football but also to have superb sportsmanship, which they all showed on Wednesday and of course to all the parents, for showing up, standing in the cold cheering and supporting the boys. Thank you all and well done !
